  I rated this bridal store a 5 start before all this happened and now I can’t delete my previous review! Eve (the owner) is a master at lying!! This was my story of my experience with The Bride To Be as much as I can remember, I’m sure I forgot some stuff. I had ordered my dress and a few weeks later ordered my bridal belt. I had originally told her to just ship the belt to my house but then decided I was just going to pick my dress and belt up at the same time. When I went to get my dress she said they had accidentally already sent the belt. A few weeks later I realized I had never gotten it so I called and she said that there was a mistake and it was never really sent to me. She said she put it in the mail that day. In the craziness of planning a wedding the belt went to the back burner. A month or so before the wedding I once again realized I had never gotten the belt. I called and she said she looked at the tracking number and it showed it had been delievered to me. Since I said I hadn’t received it she said she would look into it. Two days later I called and asked for the tracking number and she all of a sudden couldn’t find the tracking number anymore (someone else took care of that stuff is what she told me). It then turned into she was in the hospital all day due to a bee sting so she couldn’t go in the shop and get my tracking number. Finally she told me she would just reorder my belt. I asked when it would be in and she told me due to the California wild fires the shipping could take longer but she told them she needed it NOW so they sent it. When the belt came in it was damaged. So she ordered another one, then that one was the wrong one. After countless phone calls, texts and tears she reimbursed me for the belt and brought a couple for me to choose from out of what she had. Which was nice of her but I still didn’t have the one I fell in love with, and really wanted. I wouldn’t recommend doing business with The Bride To Be to anyone!!!! A wedding is stressful enough the way it is, no one should have to deal with what she put me through as well as the other brides who didn’t even get their dress! I wish there was a 0 star option.

  I have previously reviewed and cannot delete. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE OR THE OWNER. I was unfortunately wrapped up in the mess she made and I was lied to about the whereabouts of my dress. I was told to be patient and that shipping could take quite a while. After contacting another bridal shop, they checked and my dress had been sitting in a warehouse since OCTOBER because Eve had not paid her invoices. I was able to get a sample dress as a consolation prize, but this whole mess has ruined a very special part of my wedding day.

  Long story short.. I was told by other brides she wasn’t ordering dresses, dresses were coming in way later than they were suppose too, dresses were lost, dresses had no tags on them, some were altered down samples. Ordered my dress 6 months ago.. has no tracking number. Was told it MAYBE here next week. Then found out she can’t even buy from the designer I had selected a dress from! (Stella York) So how would she be able to produce me a dress if she can’t buy from that designer?! I got a full refund and now I’m 5 months away from my wedding with no wedding dress! Don’t waste your time here. I would have given it a zero star but couldn’t..
